About the Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour

DAY 1 – Transfer To Airport – Flight To Izmir – Full Day Ephesus Ancient City Tour – Overnight in Selcuk (Lunch included)

Temple of Artemis: The Temple of Artemis was one of the world’s seven wonders and was situated in Ephesus. The exact location of the temple was believed to be in different locations during the excavations in Ephesus. The ancient cult of Artemis became popular in ancient times and was a frequently visited place of worship for ancient Ephesus. One month in each year was declared a holiday and the traditional ritual ceremonies were held.

The ruins of Ephesus: You can see the Concert hall, market places, colonnaded street, temples, fountains, library, theater, Arcadian way and much more.

LUNCH

The house of Virgin Mary: It is well known that the Virgin Mary had been staying in Ephesus for some time. It was not clear until Anne Catherine Emmerich’s vision whether she died in Ephesus. Around 17:00 pm, the tour ends. You will be transferred to your hotel and stay the night there.

DAY 2 – Breakfast – Full Day Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour – Transfer To Airport – Flight To Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch included)

You’ll be taken to Pamukkale after breakfast and the check-out to visit the ancient city of Hierapolis with the Temple of Apollo, the impressive Theatre, the incredible Necropolis and the last great baths of the Antique City of Hierapolis where St. Philip was persecuted and killed. St. Philip is linked in Hierapolis to the early church and played a vital role in local history. Finally, we will explore the terraces and pools with calcium.

Return to the Izmir airport after your trip. Fly to Istanbul at 22:30 and you will arrive in Istanbul at 23:30. You will be transferred to your hotel in Istanbul.
